Tia and Zak, aged 5 and 2

Tia, aged 5, and Zak, aged 2, are a brother and sister who need a famioy to offer them the love and stability to help them thrive.

Tia is described as a ‘fire cracker who knows her own mind’, she is a lovely bubbly girl who is very girly and loves the singer Pink. Tia is doing well at school and is having one to one support to help her manage her feelings as she can get frustrated.

Tia eats well, loves to dance, walking and being on the go. Tia does have some anxiety about sleeping and this often stems from her worrying about her little brother and wanting to ‘settle him’, but this is getting better.

We know that Tia was a Mum figure to her little brother when she entered care, changing nappies and even feeding him so she is fiercely protective of him. Over time, her nurturing foster carers have slowly taken the caring role from Tia and let her be a little girl again, she is now flourishing.

Zak is an adorable little boy who loves to make people laugh, especially his big sister. The sibling bond between them is so strong to see, they are just inseparable and when together, they are their happiest.

Zac loves In the Night Garden and just loves to be pushed around in his toy trike. His favourite bunny goes everywhere with him, even the bath!

Zak has some developmental delay due to his early childhood but has made huge strives forward since being in foster care. He eats and sleeps well.

Zak and Tia have 2 older siblings who are in long term foster care.
